So What's Ed's Story?
Ed's story begins on a late fall day in Michigan. During a hike through the woods, Ed experiences strange sensations in his hands, almost as if his brain is not connected to his fingers. Later, Ed learns that the sensations are symptomatic of ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, an illness that is terminal within 2-5 years.

Fast forward 9 years: miraculously, Ed is still alive. His journey has forced him to live with a foot on each side of eternity, but it is this same experience that has shown him what it means to fully live.

What's the Project?
Ed's Story is a series of seven short films that tell pivotal points in Dr. Ed Dobson's remarkable real-life journey with ALS. The series is based on Ed's book, Prayers & Promises, published by Zondervan. Film one, It Ain't Over, has been shot and is currently in post-production. Negotiations are underway with distributors for the entire series with an anticipated release date of late 2010 or early 2011. The films will most likely be made available in multiple formats, including dvd, online viewing, and mobile devices.

Who Is Ed?
An Irish Immigrant, Ed Dobson served as a highly respected pastor for nearly 20 years at a large church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Dobson is a noted author, biblical scholar, and gifted communicator known for his real responses to tough circumstances. Ed still speaks regularly across the country.
